Cook Island Language Week
Cook Island Facts
- The Cook Islands are named after the infamous explorer, James Cook.
- The average 18,000 people live on the islands.
- The official language of the Cook Islands is english, but some speak Maori.
- Many of the Cook Island inhabitants are christian.
- Rugby is the most played sport and so are Cricket or Soccer.
- The Cook Islands are made up of 15 small islands.
- The most common pets are pigs, goats and dogs.
